A handy guide to the new American shows which might turn up here. And here is NBC's video advertising their new shows with a hilarious voiceover ("It's Robin Hood meets James Bond! It's Jekyll & Hyde meet Jason Bourne!"). I want to see them ALL (except Top Gear).
The Street gets a third series.
I am so sick of "minor celebrity learns to do something unlikely" shows. But apparently the BBC is not, for here comes Maestro. That said, I'll probably watch to see David Soul conduct an orchestra, ideally playing the Starsky & Hutch theme tune.
Don't resign Terry! It'll be all over if you do, Eurovision will be condemned to an "ironic" slot on BBC3. He's right though, obviously: the fun of a remarkably good year (many over-the-top performances plus a few actual good songs) was spoilt by such predictable voting. And it's ridiculous that the BBC actually funds 10% of the contest - that should definitely be renegotiated.
